Your estimate details stay yours.

What you send reaches our team by email and is kept in our website system. We use it to:

• show your planning ranges and follow up about them;
• connect you with one local roofing contractor that serves your city, if you agreed to be contacted — we share your name, phone, email, address, timeline and the ranges you saw with that contractor, who may call, text or email you about the estimate;
• answer your message or review a contractor application;
• protect the site from spam and abuse.

We don’t sell or rent lists of contact details, and we don’t pass your request to more than one contractor or to marketing partners. The companies that host the site and deliver our email handle the data only on our behalf.

We keep form details for as long as we need them to handle your request and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. Access is limited to the people who need it for that work.

• Estimates are planning ranges, not contractor bids or quotes. Decking condition, access, code updates and the materials chosen can change the price, which only an on-site inspection can confirm.
• Price ranges, lifespans, housing figures and city notes are general information for Puget Sound homes and may change without notice.
• Permit notes are a starting point — confirm the requirements with your city before work begins.
• Articles on this site are general guidance, not legal, insurance or engineering advice.
• Contractors are independent businesses and are responsible for their own quotes and work. Check a contractor’s Washington L&I registration before you sign.
• We may update this page; the date below shows the latest version.
